School Leadership
TORI JACKSON HINES
Founder & Executive Director
Mrs. Hines is an educator with experience in a variety of urban school settings and educational non-profits. She has experience teaching, coaching, and leading towards transformational academic outcomes for students in general and special education settings, in Los Angeles, CA, Brooklyn, NY, and Atlanta, GA.
Within two years of founding Resurgence Hall, the school earned the #1 rank out of all state charter schools with a CCRPI score of 93.4. As an A-rated school, Resurgence Hall is ranked in the top 5% of all public schools, charter and district, throughout the state of Georgia. Most recently, Resurgence Hall has been recognized as a Title I Distinguished School by the Georgia Department of Education.
In addition to outstanding academic results, Resurgence Hall has raised over 5 million dollars in just four years in both private philanthropy and foundation grants. Most recently, Resurgence Hall was awarded a significant expansion grant to further the work of the organization. In 2019, Resurgence Hall became the first Black-founded and female founded school in the nation to receive a 6 million dollar investment from the national nonprofit Civic Builders, allowing the school to purchase and renovate the East Point campus.
Mrs. Hines is a 2006 Teach for America Corps Member, and a 2015 BES Fellow, a highly selective Fellowship that trains school leaders to lead schools in high-need urban cities around the country. Mrs. Hines holds a BA from University of Maryland, College Park, MA in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount, and MS in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College Columbia University.
Her greatest joy is being a mom to her two boys and a school/partner mom to hundreds of scholars daily.

DANIELLE NATHAN
Director of Operations & School Services
Ms. Nathan oversees all operations and services for the Resurgence Hall network to ensure teachers and scholars can focus 110% on growing and learning. In addition to operations, Ms. Nathan is the Director of Federal Programs and manages all state reporting and compliance obligations.
Ms. Nathan has a Bachelor's degree from Duke University and a Masters's degree from Lesley University and she has an extensive background in K-12 classroom instruction, coaching and development of teachers and operations team members, and school operations.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, riding bikes on the beltline and taking walks in their neighborhood.
KARRIE MCGREW
Manager of Scholar Supports Resurgence Hall Primary Academy
Ms. McGrew ensures all scholars receive the support they need for high school, college, and life success with a range of scholar supports from Early Intervention (EIP), Special Education (SPED), English Language Learners (ELL), and our robust, Talented and Gifted (TAG).
Ms. McGrew is a Georgia native. She has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Georgia State University and a Master's in Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
In her free time, you'll find her spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and trying new foods and experiences.
ASHLEY ROSADO GAYMON
Director of Culture and Instruction
Mrs. Gaymon oversees all culture and instruction for the Resurgence Hall network to ensure all scholars have a college room community that is structured, joyful, and values-based. Mrs. Gaymon is the District Assessment Coordinator and leads the network planning and strategy in response to scholar data.
Mrs. Gaymon has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia. She also holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University and has an extensive background in coaching and managing teams.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and exercising.
GIANNE GOUSSE
Manager of Operations & School Services - Resurgence Hall Middle Academy
Ms. Gousse leads essential school services, including student attendance, campus safety, technology & software, and the nutrition program. She provides professional development to ensure effective systems, allowing teachers to concentrate on instruction and scholars to thrive in their learning.
Ms. Gousse is a first-generation Haitian-American. She attended the University of West Georgia, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, and is a 2018 Teach For America alumna. She has a background in general and special education instruction and adult learning, coaching and developing teams and managing school operations.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, being outdoors, cooking, and traveling internationally.
BRIONA GOODMAN
Manager of Operations & School Services - Resurgence Hall Primary Academy
Ms. Goodman leads essential school services, including student attendance, campus safety, technology & software, and the nutrition program. She provides professional development to ensure effective systems, allowing teachers to concentrate on instruction and scholars to thrive in their learning.
Ms. Goodman attended Florida State University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Education. She has an extensive background in managing school systems and daily operations and leading high-functioning school operations teams to ensure maximum academic outcomes.
In her free time, Ms. Goodman enjoys listening to audible books, sewing, walking, and curating experiences for family and friends.
LAUREN WARD
Manager of Culture and Instruction Resurgence Hall Primary
Ms. Ward ensures that all college rooms are structured, joyful, values-based, and focused on academic achievement. She coaches and supports our instructional staff, leads weekly professional development, and oversees our educational programming for the Primary Academy
Ms. Ward has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown University and has an extensive background in coaching and managing teams.
In her free time, Ms. Ward enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading a good book, and playing tennis.

The Board of Directors is the governing body for Resurgence Hall. They are a dedicated and diverse group of Metro Atlanta professionals who bring their unique experience and multiple perspectives to fulfill the mission of Resurgence Hall.
